Amsterdam

The second leg of our Euro trip was in Amsterdam. This city has got to be one of the most unique places I've ever been to. There are more bikes than people, and it's very foot friendly. Meaning you can walk just about any where in that city!

We visited the Anne Frank House and took a tour that told about her brave story. That was the first time I've ever experienced something about WWII face to face. It really spoke of it's immense hardship it had on everyone, especially the peaceful communities of The Netherlands.
Afterwards we just wandered around the city, which was my favorite thing to do this city. There's cafe after cafe!
The Heineken Factory is in Amsterdam too! Seriously...there's a ton of stuff in this cute city!
(We had the nicest hosts that gave a few pointers in how to get around!)
We stayed at the cutest Airbnb! They had two cats and they were so sweet! It was cuddle and nap time when we arrived.
We also spent our three year anniversary here and ate at Guts and Glory! We ate these gourmet hot dogs that are made out of chicken. It sounds odd, but the taste we impeccable! Dominic made a great choice for our anniversary lunch!
(I'm not a coffee drinker, but espresso was necessary for us to keep going! Mmmmm!)
We also were there at the beginning of spring, so we saw beautiful tulips and flowers blooming every where. I love all the colors!

Amsterdam was one of my favorite cities we visited, and I can't wait to go back! It was full of kind people. We had awesome adventures. And the food did not disappoint! (We all know that's a priority!)
 Until next time Amsterdam!
