Practically Homemade Apple Pie

For Thanksgiving and Christmas my mama and I make an apple and pumpkin pie. I call our recipe the "practically homemade apple pie." I look forward to making it every year, and I think next year I'll make another with some fresh picked apples just for fun. My mama has an awesome Betty Crocker recipe book that we use. You can use this recipe online. It's the same.

When i say that are pie is practically homemade, I mean to point out that we don't make the crust from scratch. We use pre-made dough in the cold section at Trader Joe's. Really, the only leg work is peeling and cutting the apples. Other than that, it's a very easy to put together and quick! And of course, it's so yummy! Do you have apple pie recipe that's been in your family?

Yes, yes I did burn the crust a little, but it still tasted great! There's honestly in my photos :)
