Candlelight 2014

This weekend in photos is dedicated to the amazing experience I had of being a part of the Disneyland Cast Choir. I performed in the first show on Saturday with the cast and other local choirs for Candlelight.
I auditioned in late August, and have been rehearsing since the beginning of September. It's funny to sing Christmas carols when it's still 100 degrees outside. I looked forward to it every week, because I love Christmas music! But let me tell you... it's serious dedication. Really, there's no room for goofing off and you need to go to every rehearsal. At first, I was a bit intimidated, but I knew it was for my benefit. This was my first time ever learning about singing a part in a song, so the more I rehearsed the better off I was.

The actual experience this weekend was breath taking. To be honest, I got a little emotional. The lights, music, and whole atmosphere made me feel so happy. I worked hard. Put a lot of time into this, and the day finally came. I actually had never seen Candlelight before either, so after my performance I watched it for my first time. It was a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit.

What made the weekend even more special was having my parents and brother there. They really made me feel supported, and I'm glad they got to watch that amazing performance too.

I'm in a happy mood to start off this week. Merry Christmas!
Love,
The City Feline
