Family, Friends, and LOADS of Food!

This Weekend in Photos- Thanksgiving Edition

During the Thanksgiving holiday I was blessed to be able to go to the Bay Area and spend time with my family and friends. My family is my everything, so seeing them  warmed me right up (I'm sure the drinks did too :)). What's great about my family is the flexibility they have. We like to plan, but we know life happens and sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches. My dad hosted a great gathering of friends and family, and the food was SO yummy! And, I got to help my mama cook and baked. It feels good to enjoy the fruits of your labor! (even though I know I didn't labor much).

Dominic celebrated his 25th birthday with lots of friends and family, which was a great way to close the weekend and my trip. Seeing everyone made me so happy. I get a true sense of joy when I see people gather, eat, laugh, and really take in the present moment.

Now it's Christmas time officially! I'm excited to be sharing recipes and some fun crafts for the season. Happy December and Merry Christmas!
