Easy to Make Cookie Cutter Ornamnets

It's been a long standing ritual for my mama and I to make Christmas gifts. When I was little we used to craft so often that one day I asked my mama if we could take a break. :) Maybe I got a little burned out then, but it's stuck with me to keep crafting. I do my best to make each I give heart felt, whether I make or buy it. But more often, the gifts I make have a little more TLC. I have made candles, photo collages, frame photos, and many more things throughout the year.

This post is a bit of a spoiler to folks who will be getting my gift this year, but I wanted to share what I've done just in case you need a quick idea for your gifts.

My mama found this sweet Cookie Cutter Christmas Ornament from (name magazine). The original idea I getting a normal size cookie cutter and Christmas ribbon to decorate it. We did make that (you can see the gingerbread man for the example). I also did a little twist on it. My mama found these adorable mini cookie cutters. I tried wrapping the normal ribbon around it, but it looked too bulky. I have gobs of hemp, so used that instead. I love the rustic-homemade look that it turned into.

All you nee to make these ornaments are:
cookie cutters
ribbon or hemp
glue
scissors
Just get the cookie cutter, wrap the ribbon or hemp around it. Glue the end in place, and the cut any extra strands. Finish it off with adding a loop to hang the ornament. That's it! It's simple, sweet, and can be used for many years during Christmas.
Are there are Christmas crafts you like to make?
