Time spent at home in Southern California

I'm not sure if you're like me, but I think about the future a lot whether it be my career, travels, or something that's happening next week. I can spend a lot of time planning for things coming up, and I do believe that's important to do. But, what I have been realizing (which I have realized and forgotten a few times), is that living in the present is something beautiful. Yes, I know I'm not in my "ideal" situation, but honestly will I ever be? There's so many things in life that happen that are not planned, and I think that's what makes life exciting! How boring would it be to know all of what I'm going to do without any element of surprise? So what I'm trying to remind myself everyday is to love the now, and take advantage of whatever opportunity I have before me.

This weekend, I had the pleasant surprise of my mama visiting me for the weekend! It was so lovely, and I already miss her! My mama and I are basically best friends. I can confide in her, and she's always there to hang out, talk, help, or really do anything for me! I don't think I could ever physically tell her how grateful I am for her. Goodness, she's seriously coolest ever! Ask anyone! :D
We took some time to go to Disneyland with some of her high school classmates Milanoy and Delmy. Two other sweet ladies that I was so happy to meet. We loved the Halloween decor, and just chilled at the Happiest Place on Earth. Of course we shopped too!
Carmello loved her company. He loves seeing my mama, and let's be real. her turned her into a crazy cat lady too!
Oh and we tried this yummy gluten-free pumpkin pancake mix from Trader Joes! I give it a big plus for being easy and delicious!
Thanks mama for all that you do (especially all the cooking this weekend :))! I had so much fun, and can't wait to see you and everyone for the holidays. Muchos besitos!! Follow the fun on Instagram!
Love,
The City Feline
