It's the Little Things

It's the simple things in life that put a smile on my face. I got my first delivery of Happy Mail by A Beautiful Mess this weekend. I've always enjoyed writing, and tend to gravitate towards unique stationary. I plan to use all these goodies soon, and can't wait to see next month's package.

I also had a wonderful house warming party, which included games, food, booze, and loud laughs and chatter. I have met fantastic people here in Southern California, and I'm so happy I got to break in my new home with you.

Sunday, there was a gorgeous sunset that hit the walls of the building I live, and contrast was spectacular against the pink sky.

It's the little things like snail mail, gatherings with friends, and beautiful sunsets that make the days bright and exciting. Remember, get from the day, and to not just get through it.
