Is it really fall?

Okay, so I have a little secret to share. Even though we are well in our way in the month of November, it does not feel like fall here in Southern California. I'm still wearing my summer dresses and thinking about tanning by the pool. On my Instagram feed, I see people in scarves, riding boots, and looking so cozy. That's not my life here, and I'm okay with that. I have my moments where I would love to feel a chill, but until then I might as well enjoy the warmth.

This weekend was filled with good times with friends. I tried a new burger joint, explore downtown LA's artist district, and listen to Disney Legends speak about their time with Walt.
Bloomfest LA was incredible to go to. My friend and I were in awe of all the art and culture in that area. I'm glad that I'm taking these chances to learn about the city of angels.

The Disney Legends I heard talk with Jack Linquist, Bob Gear, and Marty Sklar. It was incredible hearing their stories about Walt and Disneyland. To put it simply, Walt was their boss, so they always wanted to do a good job because he's the one who paid them. At the time when Disneyland opened, Walt wasn't the legend we think of today. Really he was a hands on guy that always was learning and making things better. He was the boss, and they definitely worked hard to get the job done.
They gave some advice at the end for someone whose just starting out in their career. They said never stop learning. Learn about things that you don't even think you'll use, because you just never know. Also, to always do your best, so that you know that you're getting the most out of your experience. Lastly, they said it's always great to try something new, especially in a career. There's no need to have the pressure of trying to figure out what you'll do forever. It will most likely change anyways.
Love,
The City Feline
