The Fourth, Family & Fun

During Fourth of July weekend I was able to go back home and visit my family and boyfriend! It was amazing. I love spending time with them. My family is the reason why I'm motivated to work hard. I miss them like crazy though.

Over the weekend we did all sorts of things. I went swimming with my mama and Mike (step-dad) at the their new community club pool. I had a date night with Dominic in San Francisco, which I'll do a post about soon! I also hung out with my dad, Tam (step-mom), and my little brother. I was on cloud nine. I had no worry in the world. I seriously couldn't stop smiling the whole weekend.

My brother and I had a few squirt gun battles around the house. It's good thing, because it was supper hot in the Bay that weekend! I did not mind the splashing around. Don't we look so serious! ;)

My dad has an awesome view from his balcony, so that's where we watched the fireworks.

 

Of course Dominic and I got to spend quality time together. He makes me laugh so much! Some times my cheeks hurt so much from all of his crazy jokes! 

  

My mama was looking beautiful as ever and had these gorgeous sunflowers in our kitchen welcoming me home for the visit.

I miss my family and Dominic every single day. Let me tell you, it's true when they say distance makes the heart grow fond. I appreciate my family so much. They support me all that I do, and I will never be able to fully express my love and gratefulness towards them.
