Spring Break 2014 at Disneyland

I wanted to share a fun vacation my family and I had during spring break. Since it was at Disneyland, I'm also going to share a little bit of my obsession of Disney. I always have loved Disney. My parents took me at a young age. The first university I attended was in Orange County. I got my first Disneyland annual passport, and I was hooked! For me, Disney is a place where my creativity heightens, and I leave reality and move into a state of fantasy. Granted, I don't have kids, so I don't fully know how it is to bring your kid. However, I'm fully enjoying this time in my life where I get to be selfish and enjoy things just because I want to.

Basically, any chance I get to go to a Disney park, I go! My family decided to go, and it was a blast! It was the first time my little brother was old enough to enjoy roller coasters and big water rides, so we had a fabulous time!
We don't want tiaras and glitter! All we need is a sword and shield!

Sleeping Beauty's Castle with the family :)

He almost got it out!

Don't let this sweet face fool you ;)

 My handsome Daddy!

This was the lunar eclipse above the castle. It was too far to get in focus and I didn't have the right lens.

Here are a few camera phone snap shots I got of our daily activities there.

The pictures from the rides are priceless!

We also got to spend some time with one of my brother's classmates and her family. It was such a wonderful trip! Great friends, family, and of course awesome location! I love being at the Happiest Place on Earth!

A little special adventure that we all got to experience for the first time was the tour called Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps. We got to know interesting facts about Walt Disney, the park, attractions, and all his dreams. My absolute favorite part was at the end! We got to tour Walt's personal apartment above the fire station on Main St. It was an incredible experience that I will always cherish.

This is probably the first of many Disney inspired blog posts. Let me know some of the wonderful Disney memories you have. I love hearing those kinds of stories.
Love,
The City Feline
