Gluten Free Strawberry Pop Tarts

I tried a new recipe a while back to get my baking and photography juices flowing. Sometimes I need to do something to gather inspiration for something else I want to do. I was inspired by Delilah Dior Dominica's take on gluten free pop tarts.  She gathered the recipe from Smitten Kitchen, which is one of my favorite blogs for homemade cooking and baking. You can check out the recipe and just add gluten free flour if you want it that way.

First of all, pop tarts are so delicious! Secondly they are gluten free and home made, so I don't feel guilty eating these sweets. I know exactly what's in them :)

To make things flow easily for you, check out the recipe and see what you need to gather from the store. I took a quick run to the local grocery store and Trader Joe's and found everything I needed (Trader Joe's had gluten free flour).
I personally only used the strawberry filling, but the options are endless. You could use Nutella, brown sugar, dark chocolate and the list could go on!

It gets a little messy, but that's the fun out it all. I always like to play music while I'm in the kitchen, like my Frank Sinatra Pandora. I make the whole atmosphere as enjoyable as possible.

I was able to clean up my big mess while the pop tarts were baking, and at the end I had a yummy and guilt free stack of home made, gluten free pop tarts.

I hope you enjoy this tasty treat! Let me know how your experience goes when you make them at home :)
Love,
