Carmello: The reason why I'm a crazy cat lady

I'm going to continue to introduce a little more of my personal life and part of the inspiration for this blog. I would you to meet my fur baby Carmello.
He is my little kitty cat who actually isn't so little any more. Carmello and I met almost 5 years ago now. I went to a friend's house who lived in the Morgan Hill area. She had a ranch style home with horses, dogs, cats, and lots of other animals. She would leave food out for feral cats in the neighborhood. One day she noticed one of the cats was pregnant. She tried to keep that cat inside to make sure she was healthy for her delivery. Unfortunately she got out and left. Soon after she came back to my friend's house with 3 kittens.
(These were the 2 boy kitties I brought home. They were inseparable.)

When I came over course I fell in love with all of them! There was an orange tabby, a black and white one, and an all black kitty. They were all so precious. Just look!
(This was Carmello's first day home of course we had to take a selfie!)

Well I decided to take the orange tabby and black and white kittens home. She wanted to keep the cutie all black one. I gave my brother the black and white boy kitty who he named "Cool Freaky." (My brother was 5 at the time hehe) We have now nick-named the kitty "Piggy", because he'll eat just about anything.
The orange tabby came home to me, who we all know now as Carmello. Of course you have to know a free kitty isn't actually free, but it's worth all the money to get him and his brother healthy and fixed. I'm so happy this little love bug has come into my life. He's such great company and there's just something about the unconditional love that animals give. I do have to say that Carmello has become everybody's buddy, even if someone doesn't like cats! He's just so loveable and is a big chatter box too.

If you are thinking about getting a pet for I would strongly encourage to adopt! I support no-kill shelters in the Bay Area, and there are so many around the country. "Don't shop, adopt!"
(Check out Shannon Ellis Designs for this sweet bow tie!)

Carmello brings so much love in my life, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady! Who cares though! :) You would be to if he was your fur baby. I would love to hear about your fur babies.
Love,
Carmello and The City Feline
