Last week, my mom and I went to up to San Francisco and visited the Presidio. It was a gorgeous day. I did a little business in the morning, and then we had lunch at the cutest cafe there. We decided instead of just driving back right away, we would go on a walk. A wonderful idea! The day was clear and pristine. We put on our walking shoes and headed out on the Presidio Park Trail.
When we were all done we walked about 3.5 miles total, and broke a sweat. I loved that I was able to incorporate some cardio and see the beautiful sites of San Francisco at the same time. What I took away is that just incorporating something small, like a brisk walk, makes a difference. Being healthy is a lifestyle not just something you do for a couple of weeks. Perhaps you can take a nice walk today in the fresh air or maybe go to gym. Whatever you do remember that something is better than nothing :)
