On Friday I dressed up and showed my Disney Dapper Side with a cute retro inspired dress and red lips. My friends and I went into Disneyland that night and had a blast! I'll share more fun photos from that night soon.
I also met Jerrod Maruyama who is the creator of "hipster Mickey." He's from Milpitas, so it was cool to meet someone whose from the Bay Area and has made a creative career.
Saturday was when the roller coaster of emotion filled. I woke up to my sweet kitty sitting in the warm sun, and got some bad news.
One of my dogs from home, Taca, became very ill, and it all happened very suddenly. Unfortunately, we had to decide to put him down. I guess what tore me up the most was that it was unexpected, and I couldn't be there to tell him I loved him one more time. I'll be talking more about him in an upcoming post. I just miss him so much. I wish animals stayed with us forever.
However, today I got to spend some amazing quality time with my family. We went to the Getty Museum and the California Science Center. Here's me in front of the space shuttle the Endeavor.
This time of mourning reminds me to seize the moment, count my blessings, and love the one I'm with (even if it's just myself). We never know what the day will hold for us and we can't tell the future. Enjoy every bit of life.
I love you Taca SO much and I'm miss you like crazy...
