City Eats: San Francisco's Ferry Building

I have realized in the past couple of weeks that I like to keep a balance between a busy and relaxed lifestyle. I don't like feeling overwhelmed and I don't like feeling bored. I try to stay right in the middle. This blog has kept me on my toes. I'm glad that I'm able to invest my efforts to share something of value to people.

Since I like to keep busy, I love going to new places and trying new foods. About a month ago Dominic and I spent a warm sunny afternoon at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. We saw this awesome wine bar outside and had to try it. It's called Market Bar, and the front patio seating faces the Embarcadero. It was happy hour so we started of with cocktails and tried there Hobb's Smoked Salmon Bruschetta. Oh my goodness. It was so tasty! Of course we were feeling the good vibes, so we ordered some wine and their Artisan Cheese Selection.

This past weekend we were near the Ferry Building again. This time we went inside and strolled through the different shops and marketplaces. What a hidden gem! There were coffee bars, wine bars, cheese shops, and even a fresh mini market. We spent the afternoon with a bottle of wine a block of cheese from Cowgirl Creamery
If you live in the Bay Area, I would highly recommend taking a day or a afternoon and enjoy some time at the Ferry Building. If you don't live here, visit! Just kidding, well if you can come! However, if you cannot, just go somewhere you've always wanted to try. It doesn't have to be extravagant. Remember it's the simple things in life that we cherish. Have a great week and go and try something new!
Love,
The City Feline
