One
of the main topics I will be sharing is about food. Let me tell you, I’m a big
fan! There’s just something about diving into a dish and savoring the flavors.
Many people have told me that they can tell I’m enjoying my meal by just
watching the way I eat. I always have enjoyed experiences with food whether it
be going to a new restaurant, making a new dish, or revisiting an old favorite
comfort food at home. My love of food has also influenced my photography. I
love being able savor the food with my eyes before my taste buds experience the
deliciousness.
Here’s
a new recipe called Grape Tomato, Olive, and Spinach Pasta. It's from Cooking
Light, and it looked yummy, healthy and easy to make. It’s full of bold flavors
with the tomatoes, olives, and garlic. Check out the recipe and try it at home.
I substituted fusilli quinoa pasta for the Penne called for in the original
recipe. It’s a great substitute if you want less of the heavy carbs. It took me
only about 30 minutes total from the chopping to having my food on table. It
doesn’t call for any meat. However, some grilled chicken could go great with
the dish. Try it out for yourself, and let me know how it tastes!
